Detroit Renewable Power is pleased to announce the first of quarterly Community Engagement Council (CEC) Meetings will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm EST.

Detroit Renewable Power is proud of the strides we have made in the two short years since we took ownership of the Russell Street Energy-From-Waste facility. We now hope to sustain this momentum by building a CEC. 

DRP has established the CEC to encourage and maintain the open exchange of information, concerns, and challenges between DRP and our neighboring Midtown Detroit residents and businesses through a regular forum committed to finding safe, practical, and efficient solutions.

Public Input: Time is allocated on the agenda to hear public comments. All Detroit residents wishing to make comments may send an email to indicating the ‘CEC topic’ in the subject heading and their name and contact information no later than Wednesday, May 30.
